Yes that's right ladies I said "goals" not "resolutions." For some reason to me "resolutions" just comes with this negative vibe. You know the way you're "fixing" yourself for the new year, but eventually won't happened.

I think with "goals" it's more inspiring, positive...something you want to ACHIEVE/ACCOMPLISH not "fix." To achieve something in the new year is more motivating for me than to "fix" something. So without further ado, here are my New Year's Goals:

1. I would like to achieve writing investigative-like articles. I usually end up writing soft features so for the sake of impressing future employers, I'm going to make sure that they know this little pinkflats can do investigative journalism.

2. To honestly get my haircut the way I wanted--bangs!!!!! I've been holding out that because I'm terrified how I would look, which leads me to...

3. To achieve self-confidence. Okay I can be confident when I want to but most of the times I just shy away from it. I'm going to be more confident in participating in the class. It'll be my last semester (crossing fingers), and I'll make it worthwhile.

4. I'm going to achieve being more organize for the sake of my sanity.

Lastly....
5. New York City. I have been dreaming my entire life to move to that city and 2008 will the year I'm going to achieve that! Big Apple here I come!

Well that's all that is on top of my head.
